Learn and Apply your New Skills to Serve our Community!
The Serve 2Gather (S2G) Haircutting Team was established in March 2026. Since then, its first cohort of 10 student volunteers has provided free haircut services to over 100 elderly individuals and people in need.
Student volunteers joining the team will receive professional haircut training delivered by experienced trainers. They will then apply their skills in real service settings, working under the guidance of instructors and experienced volunteers to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
Join the S2G Haircutting Team to develop practical haircutting skills and make a meaningful impact by serving people in need.
Highlights:
- Master Practical Skills: Gain hands-on experience in haircutting techniques to enhance your personal skill set.
- Serve with Care: Provide free, quality haircut services to elderly individuals with mobility challenges, demonstrating care and respect.
- Promote Inclusion and Wellbeing: Help reduce barriers to essential haircut services while fostering dignity, confidence, and social connection among senior citizens.
Target Beneficiaries: Elderly living in care homes and underserved communities
